Overview & Challenge

kauflokal.zone is a platform concept focused on strengthening local economies through digital networking, collaboration and community-based exchange. The project connects local businesses, services and users within a shared ecosystem and creates new ways of interaction on a neighborhood level.

The challenge was to communicate a complex and abstract platform structure in a simple, engaging and visually approachable way. The presentation needed to explain processes, user interaction and ecosystem relationships
clearly while maintaining an emotional and human-centered visual language.

 My Role

My work included developing the overall illustration style and creating visual storytelling elements for the presentation and communication materials.

I created modular illustrations, characters and scene compositions that visualize interaction, collaboration and local exchange across the platform ecosystem. The visual system was designed to work flexibly across presentations, digital applications and future communication assets while maintaining a consistent identity.
